SUMMARY
Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or grass-like (fern), 0.1-0.2 m high, fronds simple, glossy; sporangia-bearing segments in pinnate ‘cock's comb' arrangement. Sand. Gullies, creek banks, shaded moist rock faces.
Original specimen discovered and collected by Robert Brown in 1810, held at the Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh (UK); specimen barcode number E00208933.
