SUMMARY
Terrestrial plant, can be up to 100mm tall, is a perennial fern, best observed between September and October. Often mistaken for the sporophytes of Cheilanthes austrotenuifolia.IIt is commonly found on exposed rocky outcrops within the sclerophyll forests common of South West Western Australia, typically inhabits crevices and rock ledges. It can be found in NSW, Vic, Tas, WA, S.A. In WA it can be found in the regions of Warren, Geraldton Hills, Lesueur Sand plain and Perth
